Porcelain aorta is a rare condition characterized by extensive calcification of the aortic wall, particularly in the ascending aorta and aortic arch. It is associated with aortic stenosis, coronary artery disease, and conditions such as Takayasu’s arteritis and chronic kidney disease. We present the case of a 71-year-old female with a history of aortic valve replacement in 1989, who presented with chest pain and fever due to Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia. Echocardiography revealed an abscess. A computed tomography angiogram showed porcelain aorta, diffuse atheromatosis, and aneurysms. Due to high surgical risk, the patient was managed conservatively with medical treatment and antibiotics.
